Regulator expands provincial presence and institutional cooperation as part of broader efforts to reinforce gambling oversight across Angola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Angola.- Angola\u2019s Gaming Supervision Institute (ISJ) is continuing efforts to strengthen gambling supervision <\/strong>across the country after holding an institutional workshop in Cabinda Province as part of a broader territorial expansion strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The workshop, held on May 19, formally introduced the Institute and its new Northern Region coordinator, Sebasti\u00e3o Tom\u00e1gua<\/strong>, while bringing together representatives from the provincial government, defence and security agencies, magistrates, municipal administrations and other public institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The opening session was led by Cabinda Provincial Finance Delegate Daniel Conde, representing Provincial Governor Suzana de Abreu, who highlighted the importance of the regulator\u2019s institutional presence<\/strong> in the province and stronger inter-agency cooperation for gambling oversight in Angola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ISJ director general Nerethz Tati described the event as an opportunity to strengthen coordination between state institutions while reinforcing the regulator\u2019s focus on legality, transparency, responsible gambling<\/strong> and the fight against illegal gambling activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The ISJ said in a statement: \u201cThis initiative is part of ISJ’s territorial expansion<\/strong> strategy, which has been intensifying its presence in the provinces with the aim of strengthening local cooperation mechanisms and consolidating sector supervision at the national level.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Cabinda initiative forms part of ISJ\u2019s wider nationwide supervision<\/a> strategy as the regulator continues expanding provincial oversight mechanisms and strengthening coordination with state institutions across Angola\u2019s gambling sector.<\/p>\n\n\n
