The Open Day will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at ZRA Head Office in Lusaka, with the authority promoting the campaign under the slogan: “My Tax, Your Tax, Our Destiny.”

As part of Zambia’s broader taxpayer base, gambling operators and gaming stakeholders can also use the event to engage directly with tax officials on compliance, reporting obligations and administrative procedures. The development also follows recent ZRA Smart Invoice enforcement efforts across sectors, including betting operators, as authorities continue tightening compliance oversight.

Zambia’s betting market has expanded alongside growth in mobile finance and digital wagering, with operators facing increasing focus on taxation, licensing and regulatory compliance.
