The symposium is being presented as a forum for regulators, operators and policymakers to discuss responsible gambling practices and wider regulatory issues in African markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the event website and organisers\u2019 posts, the programme will cover taxation, licensing, advertising standards and player protection, alongside keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, networking sessions and a press conference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organisers added that Mutua leads industry engagement with Kenya\u2019s Gambling Regulatory Authority, National Treasury and Parliament on policy issues shaping the future of the sector, including taxation, <strong>licensing, foreign operator frameworks <\/strong>and responsible gaming initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"481\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2026\/05\/NIGERIA-SYMJC--481x600.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25329\" srcset=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2026\/05\/NIGERIA-SYMJC--481x600.jpg 481w, https:\/\/focusgn.com\/africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2026\/05\/NIGERIA-SYMJC-.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 481px) 100vw, 481px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Under Mutua\u2019s leadership, AGOK received the Best Responsible Campaign Initiatives award at the Gaming Tech Summit Africa 2025 following a nationwide responsible gambling campaign across television, radio and digital platforms.
