Betway owner Super Group reported strong Africa growth in the first quarter, with Nigeria expansion and casino wagering helping drive performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Nigeria.- Super Group\u2019s Africa revenue rose to US$267m in the first quarter of 2026, up from US$201m a year earlier, as the Betway <\/strong>owner said the region remained a key growth engine for the business<\/strong>. The company said African igaming revenue reached US$190m and sportsbook revenue totalled US$77m, while it also moved to a new reporting structure centred on \u201cAfrica\u201d and \u201cInternational\u201d segments<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neal Menashe, the company’s CEO, said: \u201cThe first quarter of 2026 marked a record-breaking start<\/strong> for Super Group. Africa delivered an excellent Q1.”<\/p>\n\n\n

The latest results follow Super Group\u2019s Africa-driven digital betting growth<\/a> and shareholder reward plans announced in January 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Africa expansion drives revenue<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Globally, Super Group reported Q1 2026 revenue of US$612m, up 18 per cent year-on-year<\/strong>, while profit increased from US$59m to US$86m. Adjusted EBITDA rose 36 per cent to US$152m. The company also reported global record monthly active customers of 6.4 million, while March alone reached 6.5 million active customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Africa remained one of Super Group\u2019s strongest growth markets, with sports wagers increasing 33 per cent year-on-year<\/strong> and casino wagers rising 36 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company ended the quarter with a global cash position of US$422m and reaffirmed its full-year 2026 guidance of at least US$2.55bn in revenue and more than US$680m in adjusted EBITDA.<\/p>\n\n\n
