Nigeria.- Enugu State Gaming Commission has intensified its focus on payment infrastructure ahead of Enugu Gaming Conference (EGC 2026)<\/strong>, calling on fintech and payment solution providers to participate in the event as digital transactions become increasingly central to Africa\u2019s igaming sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The regulator said payment systems were \u201cno longer just support systems – they are critical growth drivers<\/strong>\u201d within the gaming industry. The commission highlighted areas including deposits and withdrawals, Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance, fraud prevention, wallet integrations and cross-border transactions as technologies<\/strong> shaping the future of gaming across Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The commission said: \u201cAs Africa\u2019s gaming industry becomes more digital, the companies powering trusted financial transactions will become some of the most important players in the ecosystem.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
