Speaking during the event, Dickor Kargbo, operations manager of ChopWin SL, said: \u201cWe have the most seamless and reliable payment system in Sierra Leone,\u201d according to OwlPress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ChopWin operates as an online gaming platform offering <strong>casino-style<\/strong> and instant-win products aimed at smartphone users, including crash-style games, digital betting experiences and rapid mobile payment services tailored to African markets. The company also used the event to highlight its broader African growth strategy, with ChopWin already active in markets including The Gambia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Togo and Uganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Afrobeats artist and ChopLife Gaming co-founder Mr Eazi also outlined the company\u2019s broader ambitions for the brand, saying: \u201cWe are building a company where entertainment meets <strong>opportunities<\/strong>, and where the energy of our culture shows up in everything we do.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ChopLife Gaming has continued growing its African presence in recent months, including entering Liberia\u2019s regulated online betting market earlier this year while strengthening the ChopWin brand across multiple West African jurisdictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ceremony also highlighted responsible gaming and regulation as governments and industry stakeholders adapt to the continued growth of <strong>mobile betting<\/strong> and online casino products across the continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>John Buckle, an official from Sierra Leone\u2019s Ministry of Social Welfare, called for <strong>balanced oversight<\/strong> of the sector. \u201cWe are not asking the government to impose harsh policies against betting operators, but rather to create policies that are friendly for both operators and users,\u201d said Buckle<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mohammed Barrie, Member of Parliament representing Sierra Leone\u2019s Bombali District, addressed responsible gaming concerns during the event. \u201cNobody should take betting as a means of survival.
