Fraud cases commonly involve messages claiming a person has won a prize, followed by requests for processing fees, taxes or verification payments before winnings can be released. These schemes frequently imitate legitimate lottery branding to appear credible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The latest NLA advisory urges players to avoid sharing financial details or sending money to individuals claiming to act on behalf of the authority. The regulator also advised the public to confirm any lottery communication through official channels before responding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The operator asked the public to report suspected fraud attempts and to use its official contact numbers for verification and assistance.
