According to figures presented at the meeting, the association reported 280 per cent revenue growth<\/strong> over the past year, alongside an increase in membership from 12 to 51 operators<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Members also approved a revised constitution aimed at strengthening internal governance structures and improving coordination among licensed gaming operators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The AGM noted continued engagement with the Finance Bill 2026 <\/strong>process, as industry stakeholders continue submitting proposals covering taxation, licensing conditions and compliance requirements affecting gaming firms in Kenya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The association said the AGM outcomes reflect a shift towards stronger industry alignment as Kenya\u2019s regulatory environment continues to evolve. Operators at the meeting discussed the need for predictable policy frameworks to support investment, reduce compliance uncertainty and sustain growth across both retail and digital gaming segments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Looking ahead, AGOK indicated that it will prioritise continued dialogue with regulators and policymakers, while expanding its membership base and strengthening self-regulation within the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Kenya\u2019s gaming sector has continued to expand in recent years, driven by mobile penetration and online betting platforms, while also facing increasing scrutiny over taxation, advertising standards and consumer protection measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The association said the AGM outcomes will guide its 2026 work plan, with emphasis on governance, regulatory engagement and industry sustainability.
