He said the Authority\u2019s role includes ensuring that gambling operations within hospitality establishments comply with regulatory standards while contributing to the tourism economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference, organised by the Hospitality and Tourism Association of Botswana, brought together policymakers, tourism operators, financiers and business leaders under the theme <strong>\u201cRedefining Tourism Strategies to Reshape the Botswana Tourism Landscape\u201d<\/strong>. The event was opened by Botswana\u2019s Minister of Environment and Tourism, <strong>Wynter Boipuso Mmolotsi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Discussions at the event centred on tourism investment, sector competitiveness and diversification opportunities for Botswana\u2019s visitor economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Authority\u2019s participation reflects growing attention on how casino operations and regulated gaming activities fit into hospitality and tourism planning. The regulator used the platform to promote responsible gambling awareness among delegates visiting its exhibition stand.
