The tender forms part of Kenya\u2019s National Lottery Act, 2023 framework, under which the National Lottery Board was established to oversee the procurement and licensing of a <strong>formal national lottery operator.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Board has also required bidders to submit an original <strong>KES2m (\u20ac13,200)<\/strong> \u201cTender Security\/Bid Bond\u201d, issued by a reputable commercial bank or an approved insurance company recognised by the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The notice states: \u201cInterested eligible bidders may download a complete set of <strong>tender documents <\/strong>from the National Lottery Board website or public procurement information portal free of charge. Firms that download the documents are required to register with the entity through procurement@nlb.go.ke to receive clarifications or addenda issued during the process.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tenderers must ensure all submitted pages are <strong>chronologically serialised<\/strong> and that completed bids are submitted in both original and copy format in plain sealed envelopes marked with the tender number, with no indication of the tenderer on the envelope.
