The Gambling Board of Namibia has opened an enquiry booth at the Business and Intellectual Property Authority headquarters in Windhoek as part of the government\u2019s One-Stop for All Businesses initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Namibia.- The Gambling Board of Namibia<\/strong> (GBN) has opened an enquiry booth at the headquarters of the Business and Intellectual Property Authority (BIPA) in Windhoek, providing an additional access point<\/strong> for stakeholders in the country\u2019s gambling sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new desk forms part of Namibia\u2019s \u201cOne-Stop for All Businesses<\/strong>\u201d initiative, which brings together government agencies to simplify administrative processes and provide services to businesses and members of the public in a central location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a public notice, the board said: \u201cWe are pleased to inform members of the public <\/strong>that GBN is now available at the BIPA Head Office as part of the One-Stop for All Businesses Initiative.\u201d Through the booth, members of the public and industry stakeholders can now direct enquiries to the regulator and engage <\/strong>with the GBN through the government\u2019s one-stop service centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Gambling Board of Namibia oversees the country\u2019s gambling sector, including the licensing <\/strong>and regulatory oversight of betting and gaming activities operated under national legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier in 2026, the Gambling Board of Namibia issued a public notice directing licensed casino operators<\/strong>, gambling houses and other licence holders to settle outstanding gambling levies and regulatory fees. The regulator warned that operators who fail to clear arrears<\/strong> could face penalties, including the possible suspension or withdrawal of licences.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t
