Nigeria.- Two industry leaders<\/strong>, Angela Tshikhovhokhovho and Olafadeke Akeju, were recognised under the \u201cWomen Shaping African Gaming\u201d<\/strong> category at the Africa Gaming Expo (AGE) 2026 awards ceremony in Lagos, Nigeria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The recognition formed part of the AGE 2026 awards programme, which organisers said honours individuals and organisations “making outstanding contributions to the growth and development <\/strong>of Africa\u2019s gaming industry”. The category highlights women contributing to leadership and development across Africa\u2019s gaming ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

South African executive Tshikhovhokhovho currently serves as Senior Vice President of Business Development for Africa at Sharp Vision, where she works on strategic partnerships<\/strong> and technology-enabled regulatory solutions for gaming and financial services markets across Africa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was also listed as a speaker at the conference, contributing to discussions on leadership and innovation in the gaming sector. Her work focuses on collaboration between regulators, operators <\/strong>and technology providers across African markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nigerian gaming lawyer Akeju is a specialist in gaming regulation<\/strong> and Managing Partner at WYS Solicitors. She has also worked with SteelRose Legal, advising operators and regulators on licensing, compliance and regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With nearly two decades of experience in gaming and entertainment law, she has worked on policy development, governance and compliance <\/strong>issues linked to the growth of regulated gaming markets in Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n
