Senegal.- Senegal\u2019s National Lottery <\/strong>(LONASE) has signed a partnership with the General Directorate for Living Environment (DGCV) aimed at supporting environmental and urban improvement<\/strong> initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement was signed on April 7 in Dakar and brings together the state lottery operator and the government agency<\/strong> responsible for sanitation policies, urban cleanliness and improving public living environments across Senegal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership forms part of efforts to support initiatives linked to environmental management and the upkeep of public spaces<\/strong> in urban areas. The DGCV oversees programmes focused on hygiene, environmental protection and maintaining cleaner living environments in cities and communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials highlighted the environmental focus of the collaboration during the ceremony. \u201cThe partnership is moving forward to support the \u2018Zero Waste<\/strong>\u2019 programme,\u201d officials said during the signing, referring to government initiatives aimed at improving urban cleanliness and environmental management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement also reflects the broader role played by state lottery operators in contributing to national development <\/strong>initiatives. Across many African markets, lottery institutions support social programmes alongside their gaming activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
