Benin.- The National Lottery of Benin<\/strong> (LNB) has publicly presented a CFA20,744,100 (\u20ac31,600) prize to a bettor, highlighting the transparency<\/strong> of its prize payment system through a public ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winner, Behanzin Eude, collected his cheque at the recent prize ceremony after correctly predicting the results of the PMU Quint\u00e9+ horse-race betting<\/strong> game. Around CFA40m (\u20ac61,000) had been at stake in the pari-mutuel race bet, with two bettors sharing the jackpot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prize ceremony was held in Bohicon in the presence of officials from LNB and members of the public<\/strong>. The event aimed to reaffirm the credibility<\/strong> of the winnings system and demonstrate the lottery\u2019s commitment to transparency and the effective payment of prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials from the regional Zou-Collines agency congratulated the winner and reiterated the operator\u2019s commitment to ensuring fair payouts<\/strong> while contributing to national development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking during the ceremony, winner Behanzin Eude said: \u201cI have been playing PMU for a long time. I did not know that this would be my lucky day<\/strong>. When the lottery announced the results, I jumped with joy with my son. Today, I am really happy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The National Lottery of Benin also announced that the second winner from the same Quint\u00e9+ draw will receive their cheque during a public ceremony scheduled in Cotonou.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t
