Botswana.- The Gambling Authority of Botswana<\/strong> has been confirmed as a sponsor of the Hospitality and Tourism Association of Botswana (HATAB)\u2019s 2026 annual conference<\/strong>, scheduled to take place on April 23<\/strong> at Maun Lodge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference, themed \u201cRe-defining tourism strategies to reshape the Botswana tourism landscape\u201d, will convene stakeholders from tourism, hospitality and related service sectors to examine emerging trends, share insights and explore collaborative approaches to drive sustainable growth and innovation in Botswana\u2019s tourism industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The involvement of the Gambling Authority highlights the growing recognition of gaming as a component of the broader tourism ecosystem. In Botswana, licensed gaming activities are often linked to hospitality venues such as lodges and resorts, making regulatory coordination relevant for both sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
