Nigeria.- The Enugu State Gaming and Lottery Commission (ESGLC)<\/strong> will leverage its participation at the African Gaming Expo Lagos 2026 <\/strong>to engage stakeholders on regulation, technology development and investment opportunities within Enugu State\u2019s gaming sector and the wider Nigerian market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event, taking place from March 24 to 27<\/strong> at Eko Hotels & Suites<\/strong>, will be attended by the Commission\u2019s Chief Executive Officer, Prince Arinze Arum<\/strong>. The visit forms part of preparatory engagements ahead of the Enugu Gaming Conference 2026<\/strong>, scheduled for July 29\u201330<\/strong> at the Enugu International Conference Centre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At AGE Lagos, the Enugu delegation plans to hold meetings with operators, technology providers, investors and other industry stakeholders. Discussions will focus on the implementation of the Enugu State Gaming Laws 2025<\/strong>, which outline a framework for structured licensing, compliance and digital gaming operations within the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Commission is also expected to present opportunities within Enugu\u2019s betting and igaming market and the South East region. Officials will outline areas for local value creation, including software development, platform engineering, payment systems and regulatory technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A key priority for the regulator is promoting a shift from reliance on imported gaming infrastructure to locally developed solutions. This includes encouraging partnerships that support indigenous technology development and align with Nigeria\u2019s broader digital economy policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ESGLC will also address government-backed initiatives to attract investment into gaming technology clusters, as it seeks collaborations that support skills transfer, intellectual property development and scalable digital products for local use and export.<\/p>\n\n\n
