The state-run operator has begun a March audit to review internal systems and prepare for a certification assessment scheduled for April 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Burkina Faso.- The National Lottery of Burkina Faso<\/strong> (LONAB) has launched a mock audit in March aimed at strengthening its operational and management systems ahead of a certification audit<\/strong> scheduled for April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LONAB said: \u201cThe mock audit running from March 16 to 20, 2026 will make it possible to detect possible non-conformities, refine internal practices <\/strong>and make the necessary adjustments before the official audit.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening session took place on March 16 and was chaired by Director General Ibrahim Zarani<\/strong>, with the process conducted in collaboration with the Burkinab\u00e8 Association for Quality Management (ABMAQ). The audit includes document reviews, staff interviews and on-site inspections <\/strong>across the operator\u2019s headquarters in Ouagadougou and regional agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zarani said: \u201cThis exercise will allow us to identify non-conformities and make the adjustments so that we can approach the official audit with confidence<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The operator runs Burkina Faso\u2019s national lottery as well as betting products<\/strong>, including horse-race betting through PMU\u2019B, placing the process within the country\u2019s wider gambling sector.<\/p>\n\n\n
