Tanzania.- Tanzania\u2019s legal advisory firm HighCraft Legal <\/strong>emphasises that following the seven pillars of compliance <\/strong>gives gaming operators a legal foundation and a competitive edge<\/strong> in the country\u2019s expanding gambling market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the firm, staying compliant is essential <\/strong>not only to operate legally but also to protect players and maintain trust<\/strong> as the sector grows. HighCraft Legal said: \u201cFor gaming companies, staying compliant is non-negotiable to operate legally, avoid penalties and build trust.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tanzania\u2019s gambling sector – including casinos, sports betting, lotteries<\/strong> and online gambling – is regulated by the Gaming Board of Tanzania <\/strong>(GBT) under the Gaming Act Cap. 41 R.E. 2023, alongside supporting regulations<\/strong> such as the Internet Gaming Regulations 2022. \u201cNon-compliance risks licence<\/strong> suspension or revocation, fines, or closure\u201d, added HighCraft Legal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
