Botswana.- The Botswana Gambling Authority <\/strong>has congratulated its Acting Director for Responsible Gambling and Corporate Affairs, Linnet Mafukidze<\/strong>, after she was named one of only two recipients of the prestigious SAROCA Transformational Leadership Scholarship, awarded by Women in Gaming Africa <\/strong>(WiGA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Authority said: “Congratulations Linnet. The Gambling Authority’s Acting Director Responsible Gambling and Corporate Affairs, Linnet Mafukidze, has been selected from 51 exceptional women<\/strong> who applied for the SAROCA Transformational Leadership Scholarship.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only two winners<\/strong> were chosen from the competitive pool<\/strong> of 51 applicants across Africa, with Linnet Mafukidze representing Botswana and Angeline Ndambiri selected from Kenya<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The scholarship is designed to empower high-potential female leaders<\/strong> in the gaming and gambling sector<\/strong>, equipping recipients with the skills, insights and networks to drive meaningful change.
