Veteran gaming and hospitality executive Charlene Ludick brings more than 25 years\u2019 leadership experience to the Limpopo casino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

South Africa.- Sun International<\/strong> has named Charlene Ludick as the new General Manager of Meropa Casino and Entertainment World<\/strong> in Limpopo province, South Africa. Ludick brings more than 25 years of leadership<\/strong> experience across gaming<\/strong>, hospitality, tourism and financial services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ludick will lead the casino\u2019s day-to-day operations<\/strong>, focusing on operational excellence, guest experience<\/strong>, employee engagement, governance, regulatory compliance <\/strong>and meaningful stakeholder and community engagement. She has held senior roles overseeing multi\u2011property portfolios and regional operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ludick will report to Peter Tshidi,<\/strong> Director of Small and Medium Properties at Sun International, and to the Meropa Board. \u201cCharlene is widely respected for her people-centre<\/strong>d, values driven leadership approach. We wish her every success as she leads Meropa into its next phase of sustainable growth<\/strong>,\u201d said Tshidi, according to CasinoLife. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ludick holds an MBA <\/strong>from Henley Business School, a BCom and BCom Honours degree from the University of South Africa (UNISA), has completed the Executive Development Programme <\/strong>at the University of Nevada and earned a Certificate in Business Management from the South African Institute of Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ludick\u2019s appointment coincides with other executive changes<\/strong> at Sun International. In February 2026, Mark Sergeant<\/strong> was appointed Chief Operating Officer: Gaming and Nomzamo Radebe<\/strong> was named Chief Operating Officer: Hospitality & Sales, both bringing extensive executive experience to their respective roles.<\/p>\n\n\n
