WiGA said: \u201cOut of 51 exceptional women who applied for the&nbsp;<strong>Saroca Transformational Leadership Scholarship<\/strong>, we had just two places to award.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WiGA framed the milestone with a clear message of sector<strong>&nbsp;solidarity and advancement<\/strong>. \u201cWhen women uplift women,<strong>&nbsp;leaders<\/strong>&nbsp;rise. Every single woman who applied was deserving. The calibre. The ambition. The vision for&nbsp;<strong>Africa\u2019s future<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Africa\u2019s female leaders shine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ndambiri and Mafukidze were recognised for their&nbsp;<strong>outstanding leadership<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>industry impact<\/strong>&nbsp;in Kenya and Botswana, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WiGA praised Ndambiri for her&nbsp;<strong>executive vision<\/strong>. \u201cNdambiri\u2019s application deeply resonated with the panel through her commitment to not only lead at the&nbsp;<strong>highest level<\/strong>, but to actively pave the way for the women who will follow. She embodies leadership with legacy \u2013 a value at the heart of both WiGA and Saroca,\u201d said WiGA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mafukidze, meanwhile, has demonstrated<strong>&nbsp;decisive<\/strong>&nbsp;leadership at pivotal moments within WiGA\u2019s evolution. WiGA added: \u201cHer dedication to uplifting both women and men across Botswana and the broader African gaming ecosystem reflects the<strong>&nbsp;inclusive<\/strong>, forward-thinking leadership our industry needs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both executives will now participate in the Saroca&nbsp;<strong>Transformational Leadership Programme&nbsp;<\/strong>under the guidance of&nbsp;<strong>Emily Haruko<\/strong>, CEO and Founder of Saroca, whose work in developing transformative leaders across the gaming industry continues to have&nbsp;<strong>global&nbsp;<\/strong>impact.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scholarship placements were funded through\u00a0<strong>private sponsorship<\/strong>.
