Day two opened with remarks from <strong>Hon. Baratiwa Mathoothe<\/strong>, Assistant Minister of Trade and Entrepreneurship, who spoke about the need for collaboration among stakeholders and described Africa as ready to lead in gaming matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Moruntshi Kemorwale<\/strong>, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the BGA, addressed the role of well-managed gambling in national economies. He said: \u201cGambling tourism is an often-overlooked driver of economic value. At the BiG Africa Summit 2026, I\u2019m looking forward to unpacking how well-regulated gambling destinations can stimulate tourism, attract investment, create jobs and generate sustainable public revenue without compromising social responsibility.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme includes discussions on gaming\u2019s contribution to the economy, regulatory compliance, responsible gambling practices and regional cooperation. Parallel seminars cover African regulatory and operator issues, diversity in the sector, ethics and compliance. The schedule concludes with an excursion and farewell dinner on February 19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The summit gives participants the opportunity to meet face to face, share experiences from different markets and examine practical steps for policy alignment.
