Zwane <\/strong>highlighted the \u201cpivotal role that SiGMA plays in uniting industry leaders and key stakeholders across the gaming and technology sectors.\u201d Zwane noted that the summit aligns closely with the board\u2019s strategic mandate to promote growth, innovation and the sustainable development of the regulated gaming industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Established in <strong>1997<\/strong> under the <strong>Eastern Cape Gambling Act<\/strong>, the ECGB regulates gambling activities, including licensing, compliance and enforcement, within the Eastern Cape. It also promotes responsible practices and ethical conduct across the province\u2019s gaming industry. The board said it views its involvement with SiGMA Africa as an opportunity to strengthen collaboration, share expertise and contribute to broader sector development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SiGMA Africa, part of the <strong>SiGMA World<\/strong> global tour of igaming events, has expanded significantly since its launch in <strong>2022<\/strong>, positioning itself as a key continental platform for discussion around innovation, regulation and investment in gaming.
