Lottery operator outlines structural reforms, ethical certification, infrastructure expansion and revenue growth plans for the year ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire.- C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire\u2019s National Lottery, LONACI<\/strong>, has unveiled its strategic roadmap for 2026<\/strong>, highlighting a year of structural transformation<\/strong>, ethical reinforcement and long-term growth. A central component<\/strong> of the plan is a significant increase<\/strong> in share capital, which will rise from FCFA400m (\u20ac610,000) to FCFA5bn (\u20ac7.63m), strengthening the company\u2019s financial base<\/strong> and enabling future investment and expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company\u2019s strategy is anchored in a broader transformation agenda that prioritises digital acceleration<\/strong>, organisational efficiency<\/strong> and sustainable growth. LONACI is targeting FCFA744.3bn (\u20ac1.14bn) in revenue <\/strong>for 2026, as part of a multi-year development plan focused on innovation<\/strong>, transparency and social responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At a recent ceremony, Director General Dramane Coulibaly<\/strong> outlined the company\u2019s vision, stating: \u201cOur vision is to make LONACI the regional leader<\/strong> in games serving communities,\u201d according to Ivoirematin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lottery operator has also obtained the World Lottery Association (WLA)<\/strong> Responsible Gaming – Level 3 certification<\/strong>, highlighting its commitment to ethical and responsible gaming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LONACI expands ahead of 55th<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Infrastructure investment<\/strong> also features prominently in the roadmap. Several major projects are currently underway, including the construction of a new headquarters<\/strong> in Plateau and the opening of additional branches in Korhogo and Abobo, strengthening LONACI\u2019s national footprint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2026 will also mark a milestone <\/strong>year for the lottery operator, with celebrations planned between April and June to commemorate LONACI\u2019s 55th anniversary<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chairman of the Board of Directors Youssouf Fofana<\/strong> concluded the ceremony by praising what he described as an \u201cexceptional\u201d performance<\/strong> record, while emphasising that future growth must remain focused on the development of human capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ambitious<\/strong> outlook builds on a solid financial foundation. In 2025, LONACI reported turnover of FCFA657.6bn (\u20ac1.00bn), redistributed FCFA413.9bn (\u20ac632m) to players and forecast net profit<\/strong> of FCFA12.6bn (\u20ac19.2m), according to Ivoirematin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LONACI\u2019s contributions <\/strong>to the state rose by 40 per cent in 2025, while player pay-outs increased by 17 per cent, reflecting sustained growth and rising engagement <\/strong>across C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire.<\/p>\n\n\n
