Senegal.- Senegal\u2019s National Lottery <\/strong>(LONASE) has taken a major step to expand its gaming and betting operations through new technical partnership <\/strong>agreements. The move is part of a broader strategy focused on innovation<\/strong>, collaboration and national development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreements<\/strong> involve three partner entities and are set to reshape<\/strong> the country\u2019s lottery sector. LONASE\u2019s said: \u201cLONASE has signed technical partnership agreements with LONASE Way, LONASE Partner and LONASE 22 Bet this Wednesday, February 4. These agreements are part of a dynamic of assumed sovereignty, driven by innovation and the consolidation<\/strong> of strategic partnerships, for the interest of the Nation<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While full details of each partner\u2019s role will be released soon, LONASE 22\u202fBet is a licensed online betting platform<\/strong> operating under LONASE\u2019s oversight in Senegal, allowing players to access sportsbook and casino games<\/strong> legally. The other two entities, LONASE Way and LONASE Partner, are expected to support the initiative, though their exact functions have not yet been disclosed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This follows a recent collaboration<\/strong> when LONASE hosted Mauritius\u2019 national lottery operator Lottotech<\/strong> to strengthen innovation and share expertise. The lottery continues to expand digital services through platforms like 22\u202fBet, while contributing significant revenue<\/strong> to public funds. In 2025, it reported strong results, contributing roughly CFA5bn (\u20ac7.62m) to national savings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
