For many years, LONAGUI has supported initiatives across several key sectors<\/strong>, particularly health, education, youth, sport and culture.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The initiative, titled \u201cA gesture of hope <\/strong>for 10 Guineans: prostheses to rebuild their future\u201d, was implemented in partnership with A.CO.SOF, the NGO, based in Guinea, at the National Centre for Orthopedics in Conakry. The project provided ten Guineans<\/strong>, who had lost legs or part of their legs, with custom-fitted prostheses, accompanied by rehabilitation<\/strong>, training and ongoing support to help them regain mobility, independence and confidence in daily life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Aboubacar Soumah<\/strong>, President of A.CO.SOF, described the handover ceremony as a milestone for both the beneficiaries and the wider community<\/strong>. \u201cToday is not an ordinary day. We are celebrating life, courage and resilience,\u201d he said. \u201cI would like to express our sincere thanks to The National Lottery of Guinea, whose decisive support<\/strong> made it possible to turn these dreams into reality.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Health officials welcomed the initiative as a meaningful example of public-private<\/strong> collaboration. Batouly Kaba, Director General of the National Center for Orthopaedics, said: \u201cBeyond the orthopaedic devices handed over today, this is above all a message of hope, dignity and solidarity for the beneficiaries.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n For many recipients, the assistance marked their first opportunity<\/strong> to access specialised orthopaedic care due to financial constraints.
