Tanzania.- Tanzania\u2019s National Lottery<\/strong> is taking a bold step to bring games closer to communities by integrating lottery services into everyday retail locations<\/strong>. With the latest edition in the city of Iringa, residents can now access Lottery games conveniently at the local retail outlet, marking a significant push to simplify participation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the \u201cBelieve, Play, Win – National Lottery\u201d campaign, residents can now access the outlet <\/strong>to participate in a range of lottery games<\/strong>. The Lottery said: \u201cWe are here. Visit Wakala Tecno Brand Shop located in Miyomboni Street and play your favourite games<\/strong> and win your share of TZS5bn (\u20ac1.92m).\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Tecno Brand Shop, which sells Tecno smartphones<\/strong>, tablets and accessories, has been given \u201cWakala\u201d status-Tanzanian language meaning an official lottery agent-bringing lottery games directly to the community<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lottery, operated by Ithuba Tanzania under government oversight<\/strong>, offers a range of games designed to reach players across the country. These include Bahati Nasibu, the main draw-style lottery, instant scratch cards and digital games accessible<\/strong> via mobile and USSD platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lottery added: \u201cAll games are open to players aged 18 and above, and prizes range from small instant wins<\/strong> to large cash jackpots.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through licensed agents like the Tecno Brand Shop, the lottery provides a regulated platform <\/strong>that promotes responsible play while generating revenue for national development<\/strong> and community projects across Tanzania.<\/p>\n\n\n
