With the initiative, which translates to <strong>\u201cPlay Clean\u201d<\/strong> in English, the regulator aims to conduct responsible gambling outreaches across <strong>500 sites<\/strong> in all <strong>27 administrative districts<\/strong> by <strong>mid-2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative was initially launched on <strong>September 22, 2025<\/strong>, in <strong>Francistown<\/strong>, and has since seen the authority visit hundreds of communities to educate players and operators on responsible gambling practices and the risks associated with problem betting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This week\u2019s programme, scheduled between <strong>January 26 and 31<\/strong>, will be conducted in areas including Makalambabedi, Zoroga, Modipane, Tsokathaa, Tlokweng, Serowe, Sepako, Maposa, Dikgonye, Damochujenaa, Mosetse, Rasesa, Mmadinare, Tutume and Bobonong. Sessions will take place mainly at shops and kgotlas, while some will be held at teachers\u2019 training colleges, from 10:00 to 20:00 hours each day.
