The second edition of the Video Game Incubator (VGI) has officially opened applications, inviting Moroccan game <strong>developers<\/strong>, both established studios and self-employed creatives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program, launched by the <strong>Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication<\/strong> in partnership with the French Embassy in Morocco and the French Cultural Institute of Morocco, has a February 5 deadline for game developers. It offers Moroccan developers mentoring from international <strong>experts<\/strong>, practical <strong>training<\/strong> in both technical and business skills and access to strategic <strong>networks <\/strong>and global gaming events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative is designed to equip participants with the tools they need to take their projects from concept to <strong>international<\/strong> markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Morocco shows global gaming ambition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The first edition of the program in 2025 highlighted Morocco\u2019s<strong> commitment <\/strong>to the sector. At the closing ceremony of the inaugural program in December 2025, officials emphasised the incubator\u2019s potential to position Moroccan <strong>talent<\/strong> on the <strong>global <\/strong>stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid<\/strong>, Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, said: &#8220;Morocco\u2019s ambition is to develop robust cultural and <strong>creative<\/strong> industries and position Moroccan talent in international markets.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Christophe Lecourtier<\/strong>, Ambassador of France in Morocco, said: &#8220;The program\u2019s success is a vital step toward fostering a comprehensive economic sector capable of creating high-value <strong>jobs<\/strong> and attracting strategic foreign <strong>investment<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second edition builds on the foundations laid by the first cohort, offering startups the <strong>mentorship<\/strong>, networks and international<strong> exposure<\/strong> they need to scale.
