Established in 2019, the foundation has taken on the social responsibilities of the national lottery company, completing 16 initiatives in 2025 alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

C\u00f4te d’Ivoire.- From December 6 to 17, 2025<\/strong>, the LONACI Foundation<\/strong>, the social responsibility arm of the National Lottery of C\u00f4te d’Ivoire (LONACI)<\/strong>, embarked on its Social Caravan, a humanitarian initiative aimed at enhancing social infrastructure in various regions across the country. Led by Executive Director Aboubakary Ouattara<\/strong> on behalf of LONACI CEO Dramane Coulibaly<\/strong>, the effort delivered essential facilities, including health centres and schools to support local communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The caravan made stops in Bafing<\/strong>, where a health centre with midwife housing was handed over to the community of Touranou<\/strong> on December 9. Two days later in Dingouin<\/strong>, Biankouma<\/strong>, they inaugurated a renovated preschool with a canteen, giving children a safer place to learn and eat. On December 12, in Gouran\u00e9<\/strong>, also in Biankouma<\/strong>, a multipurpose community centre was delivered for gatherings and activities. The next day in M\u00e9lapleu<\/strong>, Man, another such centre was inaugurated. The tour ended on December 17 <\/strong>in Gu\u00e9zon<\/strong>, near Guiglo<\/strong>, with the handover of an equipped multipurpose hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ouattara, during the Gu\u00e9zon handover ceremony, told residents: “Your multipurpose room is not just walls and a roof. It’s a living space designed for you. It has been conceived as a place for gathering, sharing and conviviality, where everyone can meet, have fun, learn and express themselves.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The foundation draws from LONACI’s lottery revenues to fund these projects. Established in 2019<\/strong>, the foundation has taken on the social responsibilities of the national lottery company, completing 16 initiatives in 2025 alone<\/strong>, worth more than 900m FCFA<\/strong> (\u20ac1.3m). This includes the December 8 opening of the Diamala Marie-Emmanuelle Miss C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire 2024<\/strong> Primary School in Aboisso’s SOS Residential district<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n
