The recent event, organised by the Judiciary of Uganda, provided an important platform for public <strong>engagement<\/strong>, raising <strong>awareness<\/strong> and fostering collaboration to enhance <strong>justice<\/strong> delivery across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NLGRB offered visitors a closer look at its <strong>regulatory<\/strong> efforts, demonstrating its role in ensuring the industry remains <strong>legal<\/strong>, fair and <strong>consumer-friendly<\/strong>. The exhibition, held at Kololo Independence Grounds, featured confiscated gaming machines, brochures and posters, providing educational materials on <strong>responsible<\/strong> gambling and consumer protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NLGRB said: \u201cThe Board reaffirms its <strong>commitment<\/strong> to working closely with the Judiciary and other stakeholders to promote access to justice, uphold <strong>accountability<\/strong> and ensure a safe and responsible gaming environment for all Ugandans.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Public interaction and fairness<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Board emphasised the<strong> interactive <\/strong>nature of the exhibition, where visitors gained first-hand insight into how the NLGRB regulates gaming, including <strong>licensing<\/strong>, compliance and responsible gambling practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NLGRB engaged with the<strong> public<\/strong> on several key areas, including the licensing of gaming operators, player protection measures, <strong>compliance<\/strong> checks and the prosecution of <strong>illegal<\/strong> gaming operators. Officials were on hand to educate visitors about the Board&#8217;s role in ensuring fair play and enforcing the rules of the<strong> industry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officials from the Standards, Wildlife and Utilities Court attended, reinforcing collaboration between the Judiciary and the NLGRB to maintain a secure and<strong> trustworthy <\/strong>gambling sector.
