Call centre and nationwide agent programme expand access, transparency and income for players and communities.

Uganda.- The Uganda National Lottery has accelerated operations in 2026, launching out expanded player support and a nationwide agent programme to improve access, transparency and economic opportunities. The initiative aims to make lottery participation more transparent, accessible and rewarding for players and agents nationwide.

The Uganda National Lottery said: “If players need help with anything National Lottery related, then we’ve got them covered. Whether it’s how to play, how to become an agent or how to claim winnings, our team is just a call away.”

The toll-free helpline, reachable at 0800 334433, assists players with gameplay, claiming winnings, agent registration and responsible play advice, according to the Lottery. Winning numbers are posted nightly on the lottery website and social channels, with call centre confirmation providing an extra layer of transparency.

Agent programme fuels income for communities

The National Lottery’s Lottery Xpress programme allows Ugandans to earn commissions by selling lottery tickets in their communities using mobile money platforms.

Agents sell popular games such as PowerBall, Lotto and Taano Taano, earning commission on every ticket. “If you have a smartphone, tablet or PC and internet, you can start earning commission on every ticket you sell, legally and transparently, with zero upfront costs,” added the Lottery.

Since launching on June 1, 2024, the Uganda National Lottery has generated nearly one million winners and expanded its digital gaming portfolio. Payouts of up to UGX10m (€2,350) are transferred directly into winners’ mobile wallets after verification. Spin4Cash, the popular online instant-win game, continues to be offered in 2026, allowing players to spin for cash prizes, supported by the lottery’s toll-free helpline.

Lottery proceeds support national priorities including education, healthcare, sports and infrastructure, while the agent programme empowers small business owners, students and jobseekers. The National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board (NLGRB) ensures regulated and responsible operations.

With its nationwide call centre, growing agent network and digital expansion, the Uganda National Lottery in 2026 exemplifies a player-focused, economically inclusive and transparent gaming model that benefits Ugandans across the country.

The Lottery said: “We are excited about the future and the positive impact the lottery will continue to have on the lives of Ugandans.”
