Botswana.- The Botswana Gambling Authority<\/strong> has warned the public about a sharp rise in player losses, projecting that the gross gambling revenue (GGR) will reach P1bn<\/strong> (around \u20ac64.5m) by the end of the 2024\/25 financial year<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The caution was issued by the authority\u2019s acting Chief Executive Officer, Moruntshi Kemorwale<\/strong>, as the country enters the holiday season, a period historically associated with increased gambling activity and subsequent distress calls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
