ISJ studies Benin\u2019s licensing, supervision and automation systems to modernise Angola\u2019s gambling oversight and improve operational efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Angola.- Angola\u2019s Gaming Supervision Institute <\/strong>(ISJ) has taken a major step to modernise the country\u2019s gambling sector<\/strong> with a benchmarking mission in Benin<\/strong>. The delegation studied best practices in regulation<\/strong>, licensing and supervision, including Benin\u2019s Gambling Sector Supervision Unit (CSSJ) and its centralised system<\/strong> and automation tools that strengthen oversight<\/strong> and support public revenue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The insights<\/strong> will guide Angola in transforming its gambling sector, making it safer, more efficient<\/strong> and sustainable, and highlight the country\u2019s commitment to transparency<\/strong>, accountability and effective regulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ISJ said: \u201cThis initiative reinforces ISJ’s commitment <\/strong>to adopting international best practices, contributing to the development of an increasingly modern, sustainable<\/strong> and efficient gaming sector in Angola.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The delegation<\/strong> was led by Director General Nerethz Tati <\/strong>and included Fernando Costa, Head of the Department of Support to the Director General; Mauro Pascoal, Head of the Department of Human Resources and Information Technologies<\/strong>; and Nilton Rafael, technician from the Department of Information Technologies. The team conducted the four-day visit from November 24 to 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learning from Benin\u2019s model<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During the mission, the delegation met Nicolas Ndiaye<\/strong>, General Coordinator of CSSJ, for a productive working session focused on exchanging experiences<\/strong> and deepening knowledge of gambling regulation and supervision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ISJ added: \u201cThe meeting allowed the delegation to learn firsthand about the Beninese licensing model and the mechanisms<\/strong> used to ensure greater control<\/strong> and transparency in the sector.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The delegation also explored how Benin\u2019s systems improve operational control <\/strong>and enhance public revenue collection. These insights will guide Angola\u2019s ISJ as it continues to modernise its gambling sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The benchmarking visit reflects Angola\u2019s broader commitment to strengthening transparency, accountability<\/strong> and oversight in its gambling industry while learning from regional partners<\/strong> to build a more effective regulatory framework.<\/p>\n\n\n
