The delegation studied best practices in <strong>regulation<\/strong>, licensing and supervision, including Benin\u2019s Gambling Sector Supervision Unit (CSSJ) and its <strong>centralised system<\/strong> and automation tools that strengthen<strong> oversight<\/strong> and support <strong>public revenue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>insights<\/strong> will guide Angola in transforming its gambling sector, making it safer, more<strong> efficient<\/strong> and sustainable, and highlight the country\u2019s commitment to <strong>transparency<\/strong>, accountability and effective regulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ISJ said: \u201cThis initiative reinforces ISJ&#8217;s <strong>commitment <\/strong>to adopting international best practices, contributing to the development of an increasingly modern, <strong>sustainable<\/strong> and efficient gaming sector in Angola.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>delegation<\/strong> was led by Director General<strong> Nerethz Tati <\/strong>and included Fernando Costa, Head of the Department of Support to the Director General; Mauro Pascoal, Head of the Department of Human Resources and<strong> Information Technologies<\/strong>; and Nilton Rafael, technician from the Department of Information Technologies. The team conducted the four-day visit from November 24 to 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Learning from Benin\u2019s model<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During the mission, the delegation met<strong> Nicolas Ndiaye<\/strong>, General Coordinator of CSSJ, for a productive working session focused on exchanging <strong>experiences<\/strong> and deepening knowledge of gambling regulation and supervision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ISJ added: \u201cThe meeting allowed the delegation to learn firsthand about the Beninese licensing model and the <strong>mechanisms<\/strong> used to ensure greater <strong>control<\/strong> and transparency in the sector.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The delegation also explored how Benin\u2019s systems improve <strong>operational control <\/strong>and enhance public revenue collection.
