The platform is poised to change the way licensed <strong>gambling operators<\/strong> manage payments in the country, improving daily operations and giving players a smoother, more <strong>reliable<\/strong> experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The<strong> interoperable<\/strong> system connects banks, mobile money operators, microfinance institutions and fintech providers, forming a single, <strong>unified<\/strong> network for <strong>instant<\/strong> transactions. &#8220;The system enables instant, secure and seamless transactions across different channels, supporting Rwanda\u2019s broader digital <strong>transformation <\/strong>agenda and long-term economic vision,&#8221; said a TechAfrica report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">eKash boosts payments<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Individuals and businesses can now transfer money across <strong>multiple<\/strong> providers without delays or friction with eKash. For licensed gambling operators, this means <strong>deposits<\/strong> and withdrawals can happen faster and more securely, smoothing operations and improving <strong>service<\/strong> for players. The platform also provides a strong foundation for better financial management and future growth as regulations continue to <strong>evolve<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rwanda\u2019s gambling industry has seen a period of regulatory <strong>reform<\/strong>. Following a suspension in 2024, licensing resumed in August 2025 under stricter rules and a revised tax framework designed to improve compliance and curb unregulated activity.
