The National Lottery of Senegal strengthens its presence, improving player access, supporting local vendors and driving economic growth in previously underserved areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Senegal.- The National Lottery of Senegal <\/strong>(LONASE) has launched a new agency<\/strong>, bringing lottery services closer to players and reinforcing the country\u2019s gaming sector. The expansion<\/strong> in the city of Bignona<\/strong> improves accessibility for players, supports local vendors and stimulates economic activity<\/strong> in an area long underserved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Director General of LONASE, Toussaint Manga<\/strong>, inaugurated the new Bignona agency on November 23 in a formal ceremony. The event brought together administrative, military and territorial authorities, as well as representatives of sellers<\/strong> and bettors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manga said, according to APS: \u201cThe opening of this agency is part of LONASE\u2019s policy<\/strong> to bring its services closer to citizens<\/strong>.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He highlighted that transforming<\/strong> the former office into a full-fledged Bignona agency addresses both the commercial needs of LONASE and the economic and social expectations <\/strong>of Bignona\u2019s residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that, despite Bignona’s significant potential<\/strong>, only “7 of the 19 municipalities” were previously covered by the LONASE network<\/strong>, reflecting a still low rate of densification and highlighting the department\u2019s historical under-service<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bignona agency also provides coverage<\/strong> for the neighbouring commune of Marsassoum. The department currently has 34 vendors<\/strong>, including the mini-shops<\/strong> in Cap Skirring and Bignona, each with five vendors, as well as a private PLR (privately operated LONASE sales point).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manga said: \u201cIf we can better structure<\/strong>, support and energise this sales force, Bignona can become a major commercial hub<\/strong> for LONASE.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Manga, this new establishment constitutes \u201ca major step<\/strong>\u201d in the implementation of LONASE\u2019s vision<\/strong>, based on shared growth, territorial justice and economic solidarity<\/strong>, in line with the objectives of the Senegal 2050 framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He assured that LONASE will continue its efforts to offer better working conditions to employees and paid a \u201cvibrant tribute\u201d to all the workers<\/strong>, praising the sacrifices that made it possible to build the new infrastructure<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This expansion represents more than just a new lottery outlet; it is a strategic move to energise local commerce<\/strong>, provide regulated and accessible gaming options and reinforce LONASE\u2019s role as a driver<\/strong> of economic and social development across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n
