The launch of MGI\u2019s \u201cMoroccan Video Games\u201d page highlights local developers and strengthens Morocco\u2019s gaming industry as 2025 draws to a close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Morocco.- Morocco<\/strong> has taken another step in strengthening its video game industry with the launch of \u201cMoroccan Video Games<\/strong>\u201d, a dedicated digital page<\/strong> by the Morocco Gaming Industry (MGI), putting local developers<\/strong> in the spotlight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Ministry said in an official statement: \u201cAs part of its mission to develop, promote<\/strong> and support the gaming industry in Morocco, the Ministry<\/strong> of Youth, Culture and Communication is proud to announce the launch of a new page dedicated to national<\/strong> video game creations: Moroccan Video Games.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n The page highlights the creativity<\/strong> and skill of young Moroccan developers and studios<\/strong>. Its purpose is \u201cto provide a national platform for visibility<\/strong> for video games created in Morocco\u201d. The initiative also allows developers to join Morocco\u2019s growing gaming community and gain international <\/strong>recognition for \u201cMade in Morocco\u201d titles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Developers can submit their games via email, and if approved<\/strong>, each title will receive a detailed descriptive<\/strong> page on the site. Submissions must include the game\u2019s name, the developer or studio, the platform, the game engine <\/strong>used, a trailer or YouTube link and the game category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The launch is part of a broader 2025 push <\/strong>to strengthen Morocco\u2019s gaming ecosystem, which includes MGI\u2019s Master\u2019s in Game Design and Animation and the nine-month \u201cVideo Game Creator\u201d professional course<\/strong>. These programs equip young developers with skills<\/strong> in game design, 3D art, animation, programming and production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n MGI also supports startups<\/strong> through its Video Game Incubation Program, providing mentoring<\/strong> and guidance to help studios refine their projects and prepare for release.
