The 2025 edition of the TCE, one of the most established and long-running<\/strong> cross-border lotteries in West Africa<\/strong>, kicked off earlier this year and culminated in a suspense-filled finale<\/strong> in the city of Lom\u00e9 on November 29.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The gala, organised by the Togolese National Lottery <\/strong>(LONATO), was attended by Mawuss\u00e9 Afidenyigba<\/strong>, Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Finance and Budget, Ali Idy<\/strong>, Deputy Executive Secretary of the Council of the Entente and the Directors General of the national lotteries from all five member countries<\/strong>, with observers from Senegal and Mali. The ceremony was broadcast live across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tension built throughout the 20-draw program<\/strong>, with the winners revealed during the final draw, creating a dramatic climax for the audience. The grand prize<\/strong> of <\/strong>CFA20m (\u20ac30,000) went to Koffi N\u2019guessan<\/strong> from C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n N\u2019guessan said: “I want to say a big thank you to the Entente Council lotteries for this organisation. It is a great joy <\/strong>for me. I encourage<\/strong> bettors to try their luck. It’s the real deal<\/strong>!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n On the impact <\/strong>of the prize, Koffi N\u2019guessan added: “I’m going to increase<\/strong> my efforts to earn even more, because CFA20m francs is a treasure. This amount relieves me of many burdens.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n Samson Bambara<\/strong> from Burkina Faso<\/strong> won CFA10m (\u20ac15,000), marking the start of his betting journey. For the Togolese Republic. John Eninful<\/strong> won CFA5m (\u20ac7,500), Segla David took CFA4m (\u20ac6,000) and two others received CFA3m (\u20ac4,500) each. The total <\/strong>prize pool reached CFA80m (\u20ac120,000).<\/p>\n\n\n\n TCE 2025 also recognised entrepreneurship through the \u201cYouth and Entrepreneurship<\/strong>\u201d and \u201cWomen and Income-Generating Activities\u201d competitions. Out of 350 applications, 30 projects<\/strong> were selected, ten by young entrepreneurs and twenty by women<\/strong>, who received CFA2m (\u20ac3,000) and CFA1m (\u20ac1,500) respectively to support<\/strong> their ventures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n With the 2025 draw officially closed, TCE has once again demonstrated its cross-border significance, uniting nations<\/strong>, rewarding players and promoting socio-economic development<\/strong> across West Africa.<\/p>\n\n\nBig wins and highlights <\/h2>\n\n\n\n
