The switch brings the draws to the national broadcaster, increasing accessibility and <strong>nationwide coverage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NLA said: \u201cEffective December 1, 2025, the NLA <strong>live Draws<\/strong> will be telecast on Ghana Television (GTV).\u201d Details of the <strong>new schedule<\/strong> have also been released. The Authority added: \u201cFrom Monday to Saturday, the evening Draw, currently broadcast at 7.15pm, will be broadcast at 8.00pm, immediately after GTV\u2019s <strong>prime time news<\/strong>.\u201d Sunday draws will remain at 6.00pm, while all other draw schedules stay unchanged, according to the NLA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The move is part of the NLA\u2019s broader push to <strong>modernise <\/strong>operations and enhance<strong> transparency<\/strong>. By moving live draws to the national broadcaster, the Authority is increasing accessibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Broader lottery oversight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This <strong>broadcast shift<\/strong> comes alongside further <strong>reforms<\/strong> rolled out in 2025, aimed at strengthening transparency and curbing <strong>illegal operations<\/strong>. According to the NLA, all agents and \u201clotto writers\u201d under private lotto operators must carry a unique<strong> identification sticker <\/strong>with a QR code, enabling regulators to distinguish legitimate operators from illegal ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the NLA has announced the deployment of <strong>5,000 <\/strong>new<strong> point-of-sale (POS) terminals<\/strong> in partnership with Fidelity Bank.
