Botswana.- Botswana\u2019s Grand Palm Casino<\/strong> served as the host venue for a high-profile fundraising gala to rebuild classrooms<\/strong> destroyed by recent floods and assist learners<\/strong> with developmental challenges. The beneficiary, the Camphill Community Trust<\/strong>, is a non-profit organisation that provides specialised schooling, vocational training and care for children and adults with learning difficulties and related disabilities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Casino said: \u201cWe\u2019re honored to support the Camphill Community Trust<\/strong> Fundraising Gala Dinner, hosted at our Glass Marquee, as part of our continued commitment to making a difference in our community.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event, themed \u201cBuilding a Classroom of Dignity<\/strong> for Our Learners\u201d, was attended by Acting President Ndaba Gaolathe<\/strong>, highlighting the Trust\u2019s mission<\/strong> and the casino\u2019s role in supporting students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to The Grand Palm, its support extended beyond hosting. \u201cOver and above hosting the event, we\u2019ve also proudly onboarded some Camphill learners to work across various departments<\/strong> at our property – helping them gain hands-on experience<\/strong> and skills<\/strong> for their future. Together, we\u2019re building more than classrooms, we\u2019re building opportunities<\/strong>, confidence and brighter futures,\u201d said the casino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The gala demonstrated the impact of corporate-community partnerships, combining fundraising<\/strong>, skills development and advocacy for learners.
