AGOK’s Chairman, Sasa Krneta<\/strong>, said the association is encouraged by its progress in championing responsible gambling initiatives. He noted: “Our mission is simple; to speak with one voice, to advocate for fair regulation, to address illegal gambling and to promote responsible gaming. Responsible gaming is a top priority for us. Through the Chukua Control campaign, training programs, better self-exclusion systems and public education, we are increasing commitment to player safety and well-being.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n Weldon Ngeno<\/strong>, Deputy Commissioner of the Large Taxpayers Office, commended the gaming sector for its tax performance, stating that tax collections from operators have increased by 21 per cent over the past year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hon. Joseph Kirui Limo<\/strong>, Chairman of the newly formed Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRA)<\/strong>, acknowledged the industry’s importance and pledged to work closely with gaming companies to improve their operating conditions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n He said: “The industry is growing, and it has to be supported. This is recognition by the government that you are very important stakeholders in this country.
