Angola.- The Instituto de Supervis\u00e3o de Jogos (ISJ), Angola\u2019s lottery and gambling regulator<\/strong>, has partnered with betting operator Bantu Bet<\/strong> to inaugurate a specially adapted classroom for children with special educational needs<\/strong>, marking a major step forward for inclusive education in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative stems from a Memorandum of Understanding between ISJ and Bantu Bet aimed at supporting social-benefit projects<\/strong>. The newly created \u201cSala Adaptada\u201d (Adapted Room) provides a dedicated learning environment tailored to the needs of children on the autism spectrum<\/strong>, reinforcing the partners\u2019 commitment to empowering learners who often face barriers<\/strong> in mainstream schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a statement, ISJ described the project as \u201ca significant milestone <\/strong>in building a more inclusive education\u201d. The regulator said: “The classroom is intended to provide children with special educational needs a space where their physical, cognitive and sensory requirements are respected<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The adapted classroom is located in the Rangel district of Luanda<\/strong>. Bantu Bet emphasised its commitment to social responsibility<\/strong>, highlighting that the space is “fully equipped to meet the needs of children on the autism spectrum”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regulator and operator empower students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The opening ceremony<\/strong> brought together representatives from both ISJ and Bantu Bet, highlighting their shared vision <\/strong>for leveraging collaboration<\/strong> between a regulator and a licensed operator to deliver social impact beyond the gaming sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The adapted classroom<\/strong> will benefit 34 children<\/strong> with autism at the school. The ISJ said that the adapted room is part of a wider effort<\/strong> to strengthen inclusive educational environments by ensuring that children with autism spectrum conditions have access to supportive, properly equipped spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By establishing the adapted classroom, ISJ and Bantu Bet demonstrate how the regulated gaming industry can play a constructive role<\/strong> in community development, potentially paving the way for similar social-impact partnerships across the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n
