Each of the 12 players and four technical staff received UGX130,000 (\u20ac28) per win. <strong>Finals MVPs<\/strong> (Most Valuable Player), the<strong> award<\/strong> given to the player judged to have the biggest impact or<strong> best performance<\/strong> in a game or series, earned UGX4m (\u20ac851) each, while championship-winning teams collected UGX5m (\u20ac1,064).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Borah Ndanyungu<\/strong>, Head of Local Marketing and CSR at betPawa, said: \u201cWhat we\u2019ve seen this season is the power of<strong> instant recognition<\/strong>. Every win now means more than points on the board; it means tangible reward, dignity and celebration.\u201d Ndanyungu added: \u201cThe Locker Room Bonus has created a new culture of<strong> motivation<\/strong> in Ugandan basketball.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over 28 wins, the <strong>Namuwongo Blazers<\/strong> collected approximately UGX3.64m (\u20ac774) for players and staff, while the <strong>JKL Lady Dolphins<\/strong> accumulated UGX3.38m (\u20ac719) over 26 victories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Blazers Head Coach <strong>Stephen Nyeko<\/strong> praised the initiative. \u201cIt has <strong>improved intensity<\/strong> and competitiveness amongst teams. It has also improved <strong>consistency<\/strong> and discipline as players fight to be added to the game roster.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Players reap rewards as bonuses raise the game<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Uganda Silverbacks player <strong>James Okello<\/strong> said: \u201cAs players, this will boost us a lot to perform better. We now have a few more privileges like locker room bonuses and medical insurance. Before, we didn\u2019t have these as players.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>results <\/strong>were evident on the court. Namuwongo Blazers claimed the men\u2019s crown with a 68-55 <strong>victory <\/strong>over the City Oilers, while the JKL Lady Dolphins narrowly edged the JT Lady Jaguars 69-68 in the women\u2019s final. Analysts credit betPawa\u2019s bonus structure for <strong>enhancing focus<\/strong>, consistency and intensity across the league.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By delivering transparent,<strong> immediate incentives<\/strong>, betPawa is fostering a culture of recognition and celebrating player contributions.
