Director General Zarani highlights staff achievements and 2026 budget preparation as the National Lottery strengthens national engagement and social responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Burkina Faso.- Burkina Faso\u2019s National Lottery <\/strong>(LONAB) is intensifying its year-end activities, signalling a strong close to 2025<\/strong> while reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility<\/strong> and national engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The state-run lottery recently held its monthly flag-raising ceremony, a gathering that brought staff together to review the year\u2019s work. During the event, Director General Ibrahim Ben Harouna Zarani <\/strong>praised employees for their contributions to national initiatives<\/strong> and outlined the organisation\u2019s priorities for the remainder of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zarani said: \u201cThe team has done remarkable work<\/strong> appreciated by everyone. As the year draws to a close, we are preparing the 2026 budget<\/strong>, with drafts from all divisions compiled and awaiting approval before submission to the Board of Directors.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LONAB recently contributed CFA100m (\u20ac152,000)<\/strong> to sponsor the 36th edition of the Tour du Faso.<\/strong> The lottery has also participated in cultural events such as the FESPACO film festival, reflecting its wider engagement with the community<\/strong> in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the year coming to an end, LONAB is mobilising staff across<\/strong> the organisation to ensure the successful completion of 2025 activities and prepare for operations in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While LONAB has not published its 2026 budget document, it said drafts <\/strong>are being compiled and submitted for approval. LONAB\u2019s strategic plan<\/strong> for 2016-2025 lists values such as professionalism, integrity, solidarity, innovation and responsibility, which guide its operations and social engagement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n
