The agreement was signed on <strong>November 4, 2025<\/strong>, with one copy executed at the IBIA&#8217;s office in <strong>Brussels (Rue Wiertz)<\/strong> and the second at the AIA&#8217;s headquarters in <strong>Gaborone, Botswana<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The partnership will see IBIA become the AIA\u2019s only integrity-monitoring partner on the continent, while the AIA serves as IBIA\u2019s single point of contact for African licensing and tax rules. The two organisations will share anonymised alerts, draft joint letters to regulators and host free workshops for leagues and police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whenever the IBIA detects suspicious betting activity on a Kenyan league match, the alert is swiftly forwarded to the AIA within the same hour. AIA staff will then deliver the evidence to the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Kenya in Nairobi. The reverse flow works the same: a new Ghanaian tax proposal reaches IBIA\u2019s policy team in <strong>London within 24 hours<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two entities will also engage in joint activities and coordinate policy initiatives aimed at shielding consumers, regulated operators and sports from match-fixing and other betting-related threats. The pact renews automatically in <strong>November 2028 <\/strong>unless either side gives <strong>90 days&#8217; notice of termination<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The AIA was launched in July 2024 by four operators \u2013 <strong>betPawa, Betway Africa, 888Africa and SportyBet<\/strong> \u2013 who together hold licences in <strong>20 countries across Africa<\/strong>. Other licensed firms can join the alliance for an annual membership fee of <strong>\u20ac5,000<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Peter Emolemo Kesitilwe<\/strong>, CEO of AIA, commented: &#8220;Integrity is the foundation of Africa&#8217;s betting future.
