This latest development marks the first time Wafalme Stars are formally included in the sponsorship, alongside the women\u2019s team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Kenya.- Mozzart Bet Kenya<\/strong> has increased its sponsorship of the Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF)<\/strong> from KSh10m<\/strong> (\u20ac66,400) to KSh15m<\/strong> (\u20ac99,600) per year. The funds will support both the men\u2019s Wafalme Stars<\/strong> and women\u2019s Malkia Strikers<\/strong> teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mozzart Bet Kenya, which operates more than 100 retail outlets<\/strong> and has been licensed since 2017<\/strong>, first partnered with KVF in June 2022<\/strong>, inking a one-year sponsorship deal worth KSh10m <\/strong>to support Malkia Strikers. The agreement was later extended to July 2025<\/strong>, with an additional KSh2m<\/strong> (\u20ac13,300) added in June 2024<\/strong> for Olympic preparations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This latest development marks the first time Wafalme Stars are formally included in the sponsorship, alongside the women\u2019s team. The sponsorship covers team preparations, international travel and logistical costs.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deal was signed during a visit by Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) President Bouchra Hajij<\/strong>, who urged greater investment in the men\u2019s programme. He said: \u201cThe women\u2019s team has been doing great things, winning ten African titles is no small feat. We want them to continue sparkling, but this cannot be said of Wafalme Stars. Kenya has the talent and capability to shine globally. Please invest in the men\u2019s game, too.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rolex Sirma<\/strong>, Director at Mozzart Bet Kenya, reaffirmed the company\u2019s commitment to supporting volleyball. He said: \u201cWe are proud to be associated with a winning federation like KVF. This partnership goes beyond sponsorship, it\u2019s about empowering athletes and building a lasting sports legacy.\u201d<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t
