Morocco.- Morocco<\/strong> has strengthened its presence in African esports<\/strong> after winning the African Rocket League Championship<\/strong>. The final on October 28 saw Morocco\u2019s national Rocket League team defeat South Africa<\/strong> by four rounds to three, with a total score of 20 goals to three.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Morocco Gaming Industry (MGI) said: \u201cThe Moroccan national team has claimed the African championship in Rocket League for the third time<\/strong> in its history.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n The national roster<\/strong>, consisting of Sami Hajji, Nassim Bali, Marouane Biba, Yasmin Bali and Rayane Benani, under coach Saad Bassy, secured the country\u2019s continental Rocket League title. This victory qualifies Morocco for all three competitions <\/strong>at the FIFAe World Cup 2025<\/strong> – Rocket League, eFootball Mobile and eFootball Console – scheduled for December in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n MGI added that the win confirms Morocco\u2019s leadership<\/strong> in African esports, following previous continental titles in eFootball Mobile<\/strong> in 2022 and eFootball Console<\/strong> in 2023. The federation also announced training camps and intensified coaching programs as the team prepares for the global<\/strong> event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Moroccan Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication<\/strong> was acknowledged by MGI for its continued support<\/strong> of esports development and the players representing the country on the international stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Morocco is one of only a few nations to secure full representation<\/strong> across all three disciplines, amid a pool of 94 national teams<\/strong> that entered qualifiers. This highlights the country\u2019s position among Africa\u2019s leading esports nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The result reflects Morocco\u2019s continued participation and preparation for international tournaments and ongoing investment<\/strong> in competitive gaming.<\/p>\n\n\n
