The summit will also include two panel discussions: one on innovation, technology and responsible gambling, and another on understanding gambling behaviour and related psychological issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two-day event will conclude with the <strong>Responsible Gambling Awards<\/strong> and a gala dinner, celebrating achievements in harm reduction. Previous summits have laid a strong foundation for these efforts. The <strong>2023 <\/strong>event, held in <strong>Cape Town<\/strong> and hosted by the <strong>Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board (WCGRB)<\/strong>, focused on preventing harmful behaviours, featuring sessions such as Alpheus Matlala\u2019s on advanced treatment techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2024 summit advanced regulatory consistency, earning the WCGRB an award for its initiatives.
