Guinea\u2019s National Lottery partners with RENAFERGUI to provide free cancer screenings, raise awareness and expand health services during Pink October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Guinea.- Guinea\u2019s National Lottery<\/strong> (LONAGUI) took to the streets to launch a bold campaign against breast and cervical cancer<\/strong> as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility<\/strong> (CSR) policy. The event took place on October 26, drawing hundreds of participants dressed in pink for a march through the city, united under the slogan: \u201cOne step for life, one step for health\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The awareness drive, organised in collaboration with the National Network of Rural Women of Guinea <\/strong>(RENAFERGUI), formed part of Pink October<\/strong>, the global month dedicated to fighting female cancers. The activity culminated in a training and awareness session at the Kindia Youth Centre, where women, health professionals and volunteers gathered to promote early screening<\/strong> and prevention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jacqueline Coker<\/strong>, Advisor in charge of social actions to the Director General of LONAGUI, represented the General Management. She praised RENAFERGUI\u2019s tireless work and reaffirmed LONAGUI\u2019s commitment to responsible gaming<\/strong> and social impact<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is part of our commitment to making gaming more responsible, by reinvesting profits<\/strong> in actions with a strong socio-economic impact<\/strong>,\u201d Coker said. \u201cWomen\u2019s health, particularly in rural areas, remains a strategic priority of LONAGUI\u2019s CSR policy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Building on last year\u2019s initiative, which provided free cancer screenings in Kindia throughout the year, LONAGUI is expanding the program by funding medical equipment<\/strong> to reach the most remote rural areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RENAFERGUI said: \u201cThis lasting partnership<\/strong> not only contributes to saving lives, but also to strengthening local capacities in the prevention and early management of cancer.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The campaign also featured Rose Espoir<\/strong>, the NGO founded by artist Sia Tolno, which led training sessions <\/strong>for volunteers, doctors and health professionals. These sessions focused on screening techniques and community awareness strategies, ensuring the program\u2019s benefits reach the wider population<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this renewed effort, LONAGUI proves the lottery is more than a game, turning profits into life-saving initiatives<\/strong> and meaningful social impact across Guinea.<\/p>\n\n\n
