Interviews are scheduled for November 11 and 12, with the final recommendation to be sent to <strong>Minister Parks Tau<\/strong> for approval, pending security clearances and a public comment period that runs until <strong>November 10<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The six candidates bring diverse expertise across law, finance, governance and public service. <strong>Nomazotsho Yvonne Memani<\/strong> is an advocate with experience in high-stakes litigation in both the public and private sectors. <strong>Lufuno Toyko Nevondwe<\/strong>, also an attorney, currently chairs an independent trust managing lottery beneficiary funds and serves on the boards of the Film and Publication Board and the South African National Space Agency.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Judy Hermans<\/strong> is a former ANC MP and parliamentary committee chair, who championed lifestyle audits amid investigations into grant mismanagement. <strong>King Tembinkosi Bonakele<\/strong>, a lawyer and MBA holder, is an NLC board member who served nine years as commissioner of the Competition Commission of South Africa.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The list also includes <strong>Wayne Manthe<\/strong>, a chartered accountant with <strong>more than 30 years of experience<\/strong> in auditing and risk management, and <strong>Mpho Mosing<\/strong>, who chaired the audit and risk committee for the State Diamond Trader and participated in a Gauteng Liquor Board fraud inquiry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The appointment process comes amid ongoing efforts to restore trust in the NLC following scrutiny over irregularities.
